Never have I been so disgusted at a certain watch. Coming from a wealthy family from the countryside of Connecticut, I needed not only a watch that fitted my elite status but a piece of jewelry that told strangers that I am better than you. Browsing Amazon and given the little amount of time before the Chanel Secret Party I was to attend the day after, I purchased this Rolex watch with overnight shipping.

When the watch arrived, it looked nothing like the image portrayed on my 30″ computer monitor. It’s shine was not capable of blinding strangers that passed by, which upsetted me. I would not let this get in the way as I would later attend the Chanel Secret Party with my date Anna Kournikova. I hear she’s a tennis player, but I do not have the time nor lack of money to keep up with these current events.

Thus I arrived at the Chanel Secret Party located in Beverly Hills, California with my date Anna in my unreleased Porsche Boxster Eleven. It was the home of Kanye West’s, I hear he is a popular musical artist? Although the house estimated a grand total of $20 million, it was average in my eyes.

I am going to make this review short and end it soon as I have to leave on my G5 to attend a Billionaire’s Party in Paris and because I am too important to even be sitting here writing a review on such a ridiculous product to average viewers. But to get to the main point, the watch was annoyingly uncomfortable, stopped midway through the party, and even started going in reverse!

If you do have the money to buy this product without feeling any sense of guilt, which I believe you do not, then I suggest not buying this product. Save it for a pair of shoes or a hair cut instead.

    Good Night.

Since Amazon doesn’t edit this, I will. Ok, has anyone purchased a Rolex from the dealer listed on this page in the last year? I don’t want weepy stories about handoffs from dead fathers, or three-year old musings on old watches. I want a review of a transaction involving a Rolex purchased from the dealer on this page, or please don’t waste our time.

The only reasons I can think of are the brand name and money to burn. Nowadays, you can get a stainless steel case and bracelet, sapphire crystal, swiss automatic movement, waterproof to 100-300 meters, and a minimum 1 year warranty diver’s watch from the following watch manufacturers for less than $500: ARA, Invicta, Marcello C, MKII, O&W, Sandoz Singapore, Tissot, etc. I collect Diving watches including the Rolex Submariner Date, and my personal favorite does not have a sapphire crystal or even a swiss movement, but it is a gorgeous beater that cost me less than $200: The Seiko Monster! So if you want to buy into history and tradition, a nice coffee table rolex book is the way to go.

I love this watch. I own this one and the gold and stainless blue face. You can’t beat a rolex.

I also remember the James Bond films (and the books) and bought my Rolex Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner off a friend in 1963. He had bought it new a couple of years earlier and we were big into scuba diving and early underwater photography. It looks a lot like the other Submariners from the same period, but has a couple of differences. 1. The writing is in gold letters on the black face and not white letters. 2. It has the word SWISS under the 6 hour marker.

It still works well, but when I last sent it to Rolex for a service, they sent it back and stated that it was too old and that they may not have spares for it.
